Email [email protected]. Trailtold is built by a small independent team, so replies are best-effort rather than instant — but every message is read.
It helps if you include your device and OS version, and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Trailtold needs location access to know you've arrived. Check that location permission is granted for Trailtold in your device settings — "while using the app" is enough, and it's all we ask for. Make sure you started the tour before setting off, and note that stops trigger within a short radius, so you may need to be a little closer than you'd expect. GPS accuracy also suffers under heavy tree cover and beside tall rock faces.
Mostly. Download the park's offline pack over Wi-Fi before you go and the tour audio is stored on your device, so narration plays without a connection — which is the part that matters on the trail, since GPS itself works with no signal at all. Themap is not yet available offline: it fetches its tiles as you go, so it will be blank or stale without a connection. Offline map rendering is on the list.
First make sure you're signed in to the same Trailtold account you bought with — entitlements follow it across platforms. If it still isn't showing, tapRestore purchases on the paywall screen while signed in to the store account that made the purchase.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple and Google, not by us — cancel in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds go through the same route; we're not able to issue them ourselves.
Tap the menu next to any contribution or review and choose Report. You'll be asked for a reason, and you'll be offered the option to block the author at the same time. Blocking hides that person's content from you everywhere in the app. Reported content is reviewed, and removed if it breaks ourcommunity guidelines.
In the app: Profile → Delete account. Theaccount deletion page lists exactly what's removed and what isn't.
Trailtold is in closed testing. Bugs, missing parks, and rough edges are expected — reporting them is genuinely useful, and specific reports ("the third stop on this tour never fired, here's my phone and OS version") are the most useful of all.
